Emergency Preparedness Merit Badge

Mrs. Jennifer Jackson will be at out troop picnic June 10 to do a Freinds of Scouting Presentation. She will be avaliable to except any completed Emergency Preparedness Worksheets. See the attached spreadsheet for an inventory of who's completed what requirements.

Community mobilization to plant trees combined with nature walk June 6

    The Monroe Land Trust and Tree Conservancy is calling for volunteers for a community mobilization June 6 (Saturday) to plant trees and shrubs on the streamside of the Pequonnock River in Wolfe Park.

Troop Meeting at Great Hollow Lake

 The SPL has waived uniforms for the meeting on May 31. Troop Class B shirts and swim trunks or shorts will be fine.

Canoe Trip (June 6-7) Registration Now Available

The Canoe Trip will take place on the Connecticut River, June 6-7.  Register by May 30th

We wil put Canoes in at Harbor Park in Middletown, CT.  Pack a bag lunch to enjoy on the river, as we paddle to Hurd State Park and setup camp along the river. Cook dinner and breakfast there. On Sunday morning  we will breakdown camp and paddle to Haddam Meadows State Park and take the canoes out there.
