Matt A Eagle Scout Project - assistance requested

Matt A will be working on his Eagle Project at the Monroe Food Pantry on Saturday October 24, 31 and Nov 7,14, 21 and is seeking volunteers to help with marking the site, digging and installing the steps and planting. Any help is greatly appreciated.  Thank you.

REMINDER: Venture Crew Planning Meeting Sunday Oct 18th at 3pm - St. Jude's

All Scouts that are currently in High School are encouraged to attend the 3pm Sunday Oct 18th Venture Crew meeting at St Jude's. We will we making plans for the future trip(s). Please bring a parent if possible.

Philadelphia Historic Trail Trip is now open for registration.  Deadline to register is November 1st.

LIfe Scout Information Session Oct 29

Pat Day, Pomeraug District Advancement Chair is holding a Life Scout Information Session Thursday, Ocober 29th. She will just be reviewing the instructions published in the Eagle Project Workbook and the Eagle Scout Rank Application. 

Troop Dues are now due

Sunday October 4th was Troop Registration Day. Individaul emails were sent out Sept 23rd. If you didn't recieve an email please let the Committee Chair know. If you haven't payed your dues for this coming scout year please mail to the Committee Chair ASAP. These are the funds that sustain us until we can complete our Weath Sale Fundraiser in late November-December. Please contact the Committee Chair is there any dues/registration issues. Also, we need vehicle update sheets from all individuals, including leaders.

Troop Leader Training - CYC Phase 1

Freindly reminder that the Committee Chair needs all leaders to be up to date with all their training by November 1st. Please see the original email(from the Committee Chair sent out July 25th) if you are indeed someone who needs to be made current with your training. Remember CYC has set new standards, different than National, that need to be met before you can be reregistered with the troop. If you have any questions or are having diffuculty meeting those requirements please contact the Committee Chair.
