Wreath Sale Fundraiser - SIGN UP NOW

The wreath sale is one of our largest fundraisers of the year. All scouts are expected to sell a minimum of six wreaths on an individual basis. Scouts and parents are also expected to volunteer with group sales which will take place on November 28th and 29th, and December 6th.(Two adults are preferrred for each sales slot) Each scout should sign up for TWO time slots. Gift certificates will be awarded to the top three sellers (individual sales plus a share of the group sales for each slot that a scout works).

On November 29th, ONLY, Troop 163 will be selling at Monroe Rod & Gun Club to avoid congestion at Fireman's Field due to a scheduled boot drive. All other days will be at Fireman's Field or St Jude.

Wreaths cost $12; $15 with a bow.

Individual orders and pick ups must be arranged with Mr. Bonczek via email (wreathsales"AT"troop163.org), phone, or in person.

2015 Merit Badge College Registration Open

Merit Badge College will be held on January 31th, February 7th, 21th, and 28th. March 7th will be a snow date. Troop Registration closes December 12 and payment must be made by then.

Scouts must be 1st Class and 14 years old. No exceptions. All classes will be at Lyman Hall, 70 Pond Hill Rd., Wallingford CT. 

Butternut Ski Scout Discount Program 2014-2015

The troop has been signed up for Butternut's Scout Discount Program. Individual scouts and families can recieve a discount in lift tickets, rentals and group lessons. See attached document for details and pricing.

Adult Leader Meetings Set for the year!

Adult leader meetings will be scheduled 4-5 times a year, with the goal to be every other month. They will be, when possible, the last Monday of the month, just prior to the monthly Parent Meeting. Agenda items should be emailed to the scoutmaster 1 week before the meeting. This years coming meetings are 11/24/ 2014, 01/26/2015, 03/30/2014 and 5/18/2015. RM 104, St Judes School.

Troop Dues - payments due by October 19th

Troop dues for the 2014-2015 scout year are now due. If you were unable to attend our registration day, send your payment to our Troop Committee Chair. Letters were sent home reflecting dues for each troop member, and other payment information. if you have any questions please contact the Troop Committee Chair.
